Authentication & Login
SearchVector uses Google OAuth for a secure, passwordless login experience. There's no separate signup process — signing in with your Google account automatically creates your SearchVector account on your first visit.
How Authentication Works
SearchVector uses Google's OAuth 2.0 protocol, which means:
- No passwords to remember — your Google account handles authentication
- Enterprise-grade security — powered by Google's security infrastructure
- One-click access — sign in with a single button click
- Automatic account creation — first-time users get an account created instantly
SearchVector never stores your Google password. We only receive your name, email, and profile picture through Google's secure OAuth flow.
Signing Up (New Users)
Creating a SearchVector account takes under 30 seconds:
Step 1: Visit SearchVector
Go to searchvector.io and click "Get Started" or "Get Started Free" in the navigation bar.
Step 2: Click "Continue with Google"
You'll see the login page with the "Continue with Google" button. Click it to begin.
Step 3: Select Your Google Account
A Google popup will appear asking you to choose which Google account to use. Select the account you want to associate with SearchVector.
Step 4: Grant Permissions
Google will ask you to confirm the following permissions:
| Permission | Why We Need It |
|---|---|
| Email address | To create and identify your account |
| Name | To personalize your dashboard |
| Profile picture | To display your avatar in the platform |
Click "Allow" to continue.
Step 5: You're In!
SearchVector automatically creates your account and drops you into the dashboard. You'll start on the Free plan with 5,000 credits/month.
Use a work email (e.g., [email protected]) if you plan to collaborate with team members later. This makes it easier to manage team access.

- Click "Continue with Google"
- Select your Google account (or it auto-selects if you're already signed into Google)
